ISAAA Global Report on Biotech Adoption Now Available

From 1996 to 2024, 73 countries have adopted biotech crops, demonstrating 29 years of safe use and widespread integration worldwide, according to the report released by the International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications (ISAAA), Inc., which provides the current landscape of biotech crop adoption globally.
ISAAA Brief 57, titled Global Status of Commercialized Biotech/GM Crops in 2024, is the latest installment in the authoritative series tracking global cultivation and commercial approval trends. Officially launched via webinar on February 27, 2026, the report reached an international audience of over 800 viewers.
Beyond adoption and approval data, the report provides a comprehensive look at the research pipeline, highlighting the latest biotech traits entering the market. It also offers strategic recommendations designed to help stakeholders streamline regulatory processes and accelerate the adoption of these beneficial technologies.
The ISAAA report is available via Biotech Update Elite and Premium subscription. The slide deck containing key data and charts is also available for download from the ISAAA website.
